Toronto born and raised Amanda Lew Kee showed her much anticipated collection at LG Fashion Week last Friday. The young designer took a modern, space age approach to her fall 2011 collection.

Fit was sleek and cut to the body, with strong silhouettes, emphasized by exaggerated shoulders. Lines were clean, allowing each piece to stand on its own simplicity. Amanda experimented with unusual, metallic fabrics, sequins and goat hair. There were also hints of leather and sheer black fabrics that injected an element of sex appeal.

Amanda Lew Kee brought out the major players in Canadian fashion, already gaining a strong loyal following. She’s an up and coming designer to watch, with promising talent and evolving style.
