Drawing inspiration from photography and surrealism, Golnaz Ashtiani created a collection that was ethereal, futuristic and technically expert. Hand pleated detailing in a cool, wintery palette of blues, cream and grey was reminiscent of stormy skies and cloudy days. Highlights included well tailored trousers in a cool, minty green, as well as an expertly structured maxi dress with patent leather detailing and hand pleated, drape wool satin. Casual basics were updated with wearable detailing; double knotting a draped, heavy jersey maxi dress updated a staple and created interest. Textured leather, luxurious mohair and refreshed colour blocking rounded out a fantastic collection with a beautiful, European aesthetic.
