Best Dressed at the 2012 Much Music Video Awards

All eyes were on Toronto tonight, as some of music’s brightest stars gathered for the Much Music Video Awards. It was a great show, hosted by LMFAO, with performances by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Of course, we were focused on the red carpet to see what everyone was wearing to the awards show. If one thing is for sure, metallic was the theme. Our top 5 leading ladies all had an element of metal and shine to their looks. Carly Rae Jepsen made a bold statement with a floor length black gown with not one, but two high slits that could give Angelina Jolie’s Right Leg a run for the money. Katy Perry looked regal in VAWK by Sunny Fong. Also choosing to wear Canadian, Keshia Chante wore a short green and gold dress by Lucian Matis. Kreesha Turner turned heads in a dangerous spiked ensemble, also performing on the red carpet with her 5-man dance crew. All we can say is: FIERCE.
