Felder Felder Fall 2013

Felder Feldfer FW13

Velvet Outlaw was the name the Felder Felder girls gave their fall collection, and upon reflection, it’s only appropriate. Despite it’s prettiness, there was a certain, well, rebellion about the clothes. The toying textures of velvet boucle and latex and suede and Mongolian fur all gave a certain perversity, nay, a certain FETISHIZED aspect to the otherwise feminine collection.

But that’s not all. There was sharp tailoring, oh yes, as well as plenty of metallic shimmers and flowing fabric, which added to the sexual perversity the Felder girls sent out to the London fashion crowd. And whilst that sounds dauntingly frightening, it’s not – the whoops and clapping for the design duo wasn’t just deserved; it was earned.

Love the latex – it was in collaboration with the English designers Vin and Omi – such a cool use of a difficult fabric

It's more than fashion.
