Jacqueline Conoir Spring 2012 Runway Show
Vancouver Fashion Week a week away, Jacqueline Conoir showed their spring 2012 collection ahead of the pack on Tuesday night. The show was hosted at the new Jacqueline Conoir flagship boutique, debuting the 8000 square foot space at 164 West Fifth Avenue Vancouver, BC.
Recently celebrating 25 years in the fashion industry, designer RozeMerie Cuevas created two new collections for Spring/Summer 2012 that epitomize her unique niche in the modern women’s market by bridging glamour with urban edge. The Jacqueline Conoir collection showcases sleek silhouettes, accented with vibrant colours and bold prints, while the newly launched JAC line, which embodies a minimalist look with muted colours, textural fabrics & clean lines.
Born in Canada and cultured in France, RozeMerie Cuevas showed her first collection at just 18 years old, without any formal training. Four years later, she graduated from ESMOD in Paris and in 1986 opened her first boutique in Vancouver’s South Granville fashion district. Since then, RozeMerie has built a strong reputation in Vancouver’s design community, attracting a loyal clientele of women who swear by Jacqueline Conoir.
