Jason Matlo Fall 2012 Launches FNO Vancouver

Last week, Jason Matlo debuted his fall 2012 collection at the Shangri-La Hotel to launch Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) in Vancouver. Presented to a select group of media, buyers and some of Matlo’s most loyal clientele, the show featured a mix of professional and evening looks.

The color palette is dominated by black, with pops of bright red and gold. Layering of black lace over cream-colored fabric added texture to many of the more structured pieces. Silhouettes are feminine, yet sophisticated, and appropriate for a range of ages.

Jason Matlo is a leading Vancouver-based fashion designer and there couldn’t have been a better way to welcome Fashion’s Night Out than with his fall 2012 show. Fashion’s Night Out Vancouver will be held on September 6th 2012, involving a target number of over 90 fashion retailers and restaurants in the downtown core. Vancouver will become one of the destination cities for this Global Initiative and the first in Canada.
