Lana Del Rey Gives Us Jackie O and Marilyn Monroe in Her New “National Anthem” Video

Just in time for the Fourth of July, Lana Del Rey released a new music video for her single “National Anthem”. She portrays both Jackie O and Marilyn Monroe in what appears to be a commentary on infidelity and JFK – perhaps John F Kennedy’s infidelity?

The video beautifully illustrates the melodic tune and of course, we couldn’t overlook the Instagram-like filters and almost square video format; a vintage collage feel that we’ve come to know and love Lana for.
