London Collections: Men Schedule Announced, 50+ Designers Take Part
After the first year of London Collections: Men happened this past June, it would be no surprise to anyone who paid attention that it would happen a second time. The inaugural event was a huge success, especially on an international platform. This time around, the shows will run from January 7th – 9th of 2013. It is already confirmed, that Tom Ford and Alexander McQueen have been added to the schedule as well.
Some notables that will be showing are: Belstaff, Joseph Abboud, Topman Design, Dunhill, Burberry, YMC, Oliver Spencer, J.W. Anderson Men’s, Christopher Kane, Richard James, Jonathan Saunder’s and many more. To view the full schedule go here. Dylan Jones, Chairman of LC:M, spoke to VogueUK saying “ We have had even more enthusiasm and support for the second season, and we are all looking forward to January being bigger and better than last time.”
This is big for London. While London is a huge player in international, prominently women’s fashion week(s), they don’t have much to say about men’s fashion. LC:M is really making London an international fashion capital in both sexes. Want to know what else? Our own European Fashion Director, Colin, will be live from LC:M to report on all the men’s fashion for AW13. Make sure to stay tuned as January quickly approaches. A new year, new sartorial choices friends.
