Maison Kitsuné, the French fashion company combing music and fashion, has become a serious power player in both the menswear and womenswear fields. The collection has set a precedent of using the finest materials out there, and in their AW12 collection they have surpassed the bar. While going through the collection, touching each piece, looking at the details and taking it all in we couldn’t help but feel this overwhelming sense of luxury. It started in our fingertips when we felt a cashmere cardigan, and our eyes light up when we noticed the color-blocking details.

Their men’s collection has a strong sense of playful ruggedness while still being luxurious. From a jacquard cashmere pullover to a simple tweed blazer it all spoke to us. I know that sounds somewhat materialistic, but if you have ever touched Kitsuné you know exactly what we’re talking about. It said “Go! Quickly! Run to Barneys and max out your credit card!” you know why? Because it is all so insanely worth it. You probably think we’re crazy, but that’s okay because Maison Kitsuné is a brand that is only getting bigger and better.

Focusing on their womenswear collection, a mix of perfectly tailored menswear inspired pieces while being so feminine. The cashmere cable knit sweater made our hearts skip a beat and their perfect blazers are made for an over the shoulder look. It’s all so down to earth feminine, a collection that needs to be taken seriously.

With the highest attention to detail and the best selection of fabrics there should be no reason why Maison Kitsuné isn’t in your wardrobe.
