MANGO has a New Face: Kate Moss
Good news for those of you who love Kate Moss or love Mango and even better news for those of you who love both. On Tuesday January 24, MANGO announced Kate Moss as the new face of their Spring/Summer 2012 campaign. Terry Richardson photographed Moss for the campaign and also filmed a 30-second commercial entitled “Spy Game” for the launch of this partnership. The commercial will be available on television in forty countries around the world beginning in early March. The MANGO collection this season combines very structured pieces with casual pieces so that all of the looks are in keeping with MANGO’s brand image—very urban chic. The press release states a clear influence on a lot of the looks from the 1960’s mixed with contemporary influences to give the clothing a “blended [. . .] and simple [. . .] look.” Kate Moss completes the blended, urban chic look perfectly. Throughout the commercial and in the photographs, she looks effortless, natural and just polished enough to bridge the gap between the 1960’s influences and casual looks. Kate Moss has said “I’m really excited to be working with MANGO for S/S 2012, we had a great time shooting the campaign.” So if you don’t live near a MANGO store, head over to their website Mango.com. This is a collection you don’t want to miss.
