Some of our favorite things are coming together, as Missoni and Holt Renfrew have teamed up to design a stuffed bear and elephant for charity! The limited-edition, world-exclusive plush bear and elephant in iconic Missoni zig zag print will retail for $50 each, with a goal of raising $100,000 for children and families through OrhanAid Africa.

“I began volunteering with OrphanAid Africa nine years ago, in its early days,” said Margherita Missoni, President of OrphanAid’s Italian division. “To see the changes and impact we have made to better the lives of children is incredible and rewarding. We are very pleased to have joined forces with Holt Renfrew. The funds raised will further strengthen our cause.”

OrphanAid Africa is a non-profit organization that aims to ensure that orphans and vulnerable children in Ghana grow up in safe and permanent family settings with appropriate care and protection.

The Missoni x Holt Renfrew bear and elephant will be available for purchase starting November 1, 2012 and Margherita Missoni, Chief Accessories Designer of MISSONI, will make a public appearance at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street on November 8, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
