Perry Ellis Black Collection Launches This Fall
This fall, Perry Ellis is launching a new 14-piece collection of all black menswear. Born from the idea that black can create a wardrobe of elegant, timeless and easy to wear clothing, Perry Ellis Black was created to embody black; the color of urban sophistication, no-nonsense utility and nights on the town.
John Crocco, the creative director for Perry Ellis says, “Black is a versatile and practical shade to wear. There are few colors men can wear head-to-toe and actually look masculine and modern. That insight led us create an edited collection of perfect black pieces that every guy should own.”
Stand out styles in the Perry Ellis Black collection include: a cardigan, short- and long-sleeve T-shirts, a sport coat, a trench, a zip-up jacket, denim and dress pants. Retail prices range from $45 to $185.
To promote the launch, Perry Ellis is set to unveil a fleet of Perry Ellis Black cars in September during New York Fashion Week, which will be available to consumers, editors and influencers. The cars will be free to anyone traveling in New York City, and can be flagged down on the street if spotted. You’ll be able to follow the cars with #PerfectRide on twitter and via @PerryEllis.
Keep an eye out on the Perry Ellis Facebook page as well from September 19th – October 17th, where Perry Ellis Facebook fans can enter a photo of themselves or someone they know who looks like they get “dressed in the dark”. The makeover winner of the contest will win a full Perry Ellis Black collection.
