Salvatore Ferragamo Men’s Spring 2013
Crayola eat your heart out! In a nutshell, Salvatore Ferragamo’s spring 2013 collection is my color-blocked dream come true. If an alternate sartorial universe exists, they’ve found it. Orange and blue! Mint and turquoise! Mint, yellow, orange and turquoise! It was a crayon box explosion onto the runway; almost every piece saturated in vibrant color.
Silhouettes are classic and tailored for the menswear connoisseur. And each look is finished off with a pair of color-coordinated sneakers. As the show progressed, color was slowly drawn out of the looks, until one final all white suit. This is a show line up of perfection. A few prints made an appearance here and there, as well as, a watercolor effect washed onto white jackets.
Color me obsessed.
