Suits & Style: A MR PORTER Wake-Up Call
Dear Sartorially-Challenged Gentleman of New York City,
Do you know how bad it pains the hearts of not only me, but also the women who inhabit this city, to see you saunter onto the 6 train in your ill fitting suit and your cheap dress shoes? Do you understand that dressing was and still is an art form? And that people take pride in looking good? Do you realize that a good suit can really make a gal weak in the knees? Didn’t think so. So listen here.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, we’ve got something to introduce to you. We understand that sometimes it’s rough to pick something out in the morning, especially when you were on a rooftop till 5AM drinking PBR or what have you. You know that really chic, really cool website MR PORTER? Well, you should, because they are the bomb dot com.
Well they’ve just taken things to a whole new level of cool by partnering with USA Networks and launching a SUITS & STYLE Microsite to celebrate their collaboration with Suits. The site within a site will feature original editorial content, photography, behind-the-scenes footage of season two of SUITS and exclusive interviews with SUITS stars Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams.
Now to the good stuff. MR PORTER has launched the SUIT YOURSELF app for iPhones! Basically you’re able to create outfits through their stellar outfit builder and you can find the suit that best fits your style. Then you can show all your friends how cool you are, or want to be, by sharing your suit through the never-ending social media site.
If you do live in our fair city of New York, we suggest you stop by the SUITS & STYLE Gallery, locating at 72 Gansevoort Street. You’ll be to to shop a special collection of products and receive style advice from the MR PORTER fashion experts. They also offer complimentary grooming courtesy of Aesop.
Oh, you can also enter to win a $25,000 wardrobe… do whatever you want to with that little tidbit of information. They also have a sale going on, so check it out! mrporter.com
