Sunhee Fall 2012

After winning an Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award in the women’s wear category for 2012, Sunhee was a designer to watch at New York Fashion Week. While she already earned a place on our radar with her presentation last season, Sunhee took her fall 2012 collection to the next level.

The look was glamorous and sexy, with a downtown edge. Stretch leather, wool, silk, mohair and lycra made for body conscious silhouettes that emphasized femininity and movement. Each piece in the collection is wearable and allows for ease in movement, as demonstrated on the runway.

Neutrals dominate the palette of black, grey and tan. Sapphire blue pieces popped amongst the darker looks and energized the collection.

Joining former Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winners like Zac Posen, Derek Lam, Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Alexander Wang, there’s no doubt that Sunhee is about to rise to the top.
