The 2012 CFDA Award Winners Are…

The CFDA Awards came and went and all the gals and guys of the fashion world have removed their uncomfortable pumps and dress shoes. The fabulous crowds sipped champagne like they were thirsty and we even saw a tweet that the crowd was dancing to ‘Call Me Maybe’ which is no surprise to us. We were unable to make it because our white collarless shirt from Fred Segal was still at the cleaners, see what we did there? However, here is the full list of winners!
CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen; The Row.
CFDA Accessory Designer of the Year: Reed Krakoff
CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year: Billy Reid
Swarovski Menswear Award: Phillip Lim
Swarovski Accessories Award: Tabitha Simmons
Swarovski Womenswear Award: Joseph Altuzarra
Other awards were received by Tommy Hilfiger who won the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award; Andrew Rosen was congratulated on his win for the Eleanor Lamber Founders Award; and the Media Award went to Scott Schuman and Garance Doré. Johnny Depp was crowned with the Fashion Icon Award and Rei Kawakubo was honored with the International Award.
