Top Models, TRON Motorcycle and Hoopla at The Blonds Fall 2012 Runway Show

There is no better way to wrap up New York Fashion Week than attending the over the top and unpredictable presentation known as “The Blonds” fashion show. Over the years it has always proven to be a fun filled event, packed with an audience that is just as captivating as the collection. And this year it was quite the scene.

While it may not be your typical “ready to wear”, this time around designers David and Phillipe Blonde included a number of wearable pieces, including a printed halter style jumpsuit, a nude snakeskin printed mini dress for evening, and printed motorcycle jackets for both men and women. With probably the sickest motorcycle one has ever seen parked at the edge of the runway (think “TRON Legacy”), top models strutted around in Christian Louboutin for the Blonds footwear, sporting high dramatic ponytails coming out of laser cut motorcycle helmet’s designed by Max Steiner. This is one event that seems like more of a runway party than a runway show and with this year’s guest of honor being Lil’ Kim, one thing you can always bet on is that “The Blonds” will never be boring.
