#TopChicret News: Maybelline Welcomes Charlotte Free

In a world where everything goes my way, a girl with pink hair would be the new face of Maybelline. I guess this is that world, because in a not so normal announcement Maybelline has named Charlotte Free as their newest face.

You all remember P’Trique right? The fashion gal whose claim to fame came about during one of her “Sh*t Fashion Girls Say” videos. Yeah, well she’s back and she’s still #ChicToTheNextLev. In this instillation of P’Trique we’ve got a new hashtag to introduce, which I’ve already used, #TopChicret. When P’Trique is told in confidence by Charlotte Free about her new gig, she runs and tells the world. By the world we mean Jill Zarin, Betsey Johnson, Derek Blasberg, Steven Rojas, Chrissie Miller, John Januzzi – to name a few.

Naturally, she’s dead on because you can’t tell anyone anything in this industry without it being on the cover of WWD the next day or being all over the blogs. This is why everyone has a google alert set for their name, I have 3 but I digress.
