From the east coast to the west, there as some everyday people doing some amazing things. Whether you’re snapping pictures of your outfits, or running the length of a football field to score a point (kidding, I know it’s called a touchdown) these people are truly amazing. This year Uniqlo has picked eight people from San Francisco and New York to star in their campaign.

From New York we have Leandra Medine, Benjamin Millepied, Zered Basset and Amanda Waner a.k.a. MNDR. From the west coast they’ve tapped Joe Montana, Goape, Brit Morin and Danny Bowien. Much like that famous line from Devil Wears Prada about everyone living in fashion, these people, whether they’re owners of Mission Chinese Food or singers and songwriters, they are involved in our fast paced industry. After all, everyone needs to wear some clothes. What could be better than including some of these awesome people in a campaign that will reach millions? Nothing. Now that’s the power of fashion.

The San Francisco crew is perfect for the new Uniqlo store opening on October 5th. Want to hear how innovating Uniqlo is? Look at their social prowess. To celebrate the launch of their first west coast store, Uniqlo will be inviting fans to play “Lucky Cube with Maru.” The YouTube famous cat will help fans win anything from Uniqlo clothes to recipes!

It's more than fashion.
