Unlike previous seasons where our dear friend, Mister Toi, would keep the neutrals in sync with blacks, whites and dark navies, this season’s standout collection favors the light-hearted yet memorable colors that simply define Spring. Pastel pinks, cream-colored whites and supple purples dominated the glamorous runway complete with crystal-encrusted shoulder detailing. We also can’t forget the stunning flower elements incorporated into the plunging backlines of his exquisite gowns.

From start to finish, all you would hear is the often-critical audience oozing with excitement, amazement and most importantly, inspiration every moment a new look came strutting down the runway. With classical, jazzy music playing in the background, which added a certain ambience to the well-rounded collection, one couldn’t help but feel the special presence of such luxurious, timeless fashion that would be seen for many, many years to come.

We salute you once again, Zang Toi, for creating these magical pieces that will undoubtedly be the center of attention at the next royal wedding or a red-carpet ball in New York City.
